Duquesne man shot, killed outside McKeesport club
A 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday in McKeesport, marking the 120th homicide in Allegheny County this year.
Tyre Hill of Duquesne was shot in the leg at 3:08 a.m. in front of the Elks Lounge on Walnut Street after an altercation inside the building, the Allegheny County police said.
Hill died of the leg wound at 4:34 a.m. in UPMC Presbyterian, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said.
Last year, 98 homicides occurred in the county, according to the medical examiner's office. The all-time record of 125 homicides was set in 2003.
