Gianna Martello Residence : Braddock Hills Age : 16 School : Junior at Oakland Catholic High School Family : Parents, Paul and Kim Martello Noteworthy : Won the national title of Teen Miss Dance at the American Artistic Awards dance competition in Orlando, Fla. She performed a lyrical dance solo using jazz- and ballet-type moves. To qualify for the national event, she won a regional competition. Activities : Martello studies dance at Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio, Penn Hills. She dances daily. Quote : “I like going to the competitions and stuff. That’s probably my favorite part. I get to meet a lot of new people and experience new things that a lot of people don’t get to.”
