Activities and Achievements: Blasko, valedictorian of the East Allegheny High School Class of 2000, carried the Olympic Torch through the City of Pittsburgh on its way to last year's Winter Olympics. Blasko enjoys soccer and skiing and is involved in many community activities. He is also a Red Cross-certified lifeguard for the YMCA.
Noteworthy: Blasko, who finished his fourth straight semester on the dean's list with a 3.8 grade point average as an architectural engineering major at Penn State University, has been offered admission into the prestigious Schreyer's Honors College.
