Background : She serves as president of student council, and is also a member of the Key Club Board and the Just Say No campaign. Shepler plays varsity soccer and serves as the varsity wrestling statistician. She is in the Professional Experience Program, student teaching at Dible Elementary with Mrs. Champlain's second grade class. Shepler is also listed in the current Who's Who Among High School Students.

Noteworthy: As council president, Shepler serves as one of two student representatives to the Penn Hills School Board, along with Senior Class President Matt Strauss.

Quote: "My main objective this year is to get more people involved and generally create a better environment in the school," Shepler said. "One of the projects that student council will on is restoring a courtyard at the high school."
