  • Hobbies: Gymnastics, basketball, swimming, rollerblading, and reading. Allie also is a team trainer at Gymkhana Gymnastics School in Plum.

  • Noteworthy: Allie recently was named a winner in the annual National PTA Reflections Program. Her entry, "I Hold in My Hand … My Little Sister's Hand," also received an honorable mention in the Intermediate category at the district judging. More than 4,100 entries were received throughout Allegheny County. Allie was among more than 100 students who attended a District 10 PTA Reflections Luncheon on Saturday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Coraopolis.

  • Quote: "I'm very excited that the judges liked my story. It was about how much I help my little sister with her ABCs and counting, and that I'll hold my little sister's hand for as long as she needs me."
