Danita Clowney

Age: 17.
School: Danita is a senior at Woodland Hills High School.
Family: Mother, Shelia; sisters, Danielle, 26, and Dayla, 16; and a brother, Jordan 13.
Noteworthy: Danita was a recipient of the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh's Global Travel Scholarship Program. Over the summer, she spent five weeks living with a host family in Costa Rica in a study-abroad program. The program was offered through a grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation and a partnership with World Learning Experiment in International Living.
Activities/Interests: Danita plays the violin and is a member of God's Youth Nation, a youth group at her church, Homewood Church of God. She also is on the Woodland Hills High School track team. After graduation, Danita wants to study at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and become a mortician.
