School: Thomas will be a senior at Serra Catholic High School.
Achievement: Thomas recently was awarded the honor of Eagle Scout by Boy Scout Troop 66, of Whitaker, for his leadership and work in redesigning and refurbishing an aging gazebo at Patrick Place, a senior-care facility in West Mifflin.
