Kiski Area sets kindergarten registration
Kiski Area Kindergarten registration will be held 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. March 10-12 Washington Elementary.
The following is required: Immunization records, birth certificate, proof of residency. The schedule will be March 10, Allegheny Township, Hyde Park; March 11, Vandergrift, East Vandergrift, Bell, Parks, Avonmore, March 12, Oklahoma, Washington Township. Questions may be directed to 724-842-0453.
Rainbow Road accepts applicants
Rainbow Road Preschool, 301 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning is accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year. Classes are two days for 3-year-olds and three days a week for prekindergarten students.

Football mothers meet tonight

Story Hour will continue
The Story Hour for the winter session is held for children 2-7 at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Ford City Public Library concluding Feb. 18. Activities include stories, games, crafts, songs and snacks. Questions may be directed to 724-763-3591.
Divine Redeemer sets registration
Divine Redeemer School, 726 Fourth Ave., Ford City, accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Inc., is taking registrations for the 2009-2010 school year for preschool to grade six and all day kindergarten.
All classes have small class sizes. There is a hot lunch program. Bus transportation provided for grades kindergarten-grade six. Tuition assistance available including preschool. Classes include library, art, music, physical education, technology classes. Questions may be directed to 724-763-3761.
Redbank Valley sets make-up days
Redbank Valley School District has announced snow make-up days as follows: March 13 for Sept.15, April 9 for Jan. 7, April 13 for Jan. 16, and May 29 for Jan. 28.
