Lendyak named reward winner
Renee Lendyak, a graduate of Ford City High School who will major in communications at Robert Morris University in the fall was a recipient of S&T Bank Rewards 2008's Top of the Class through annual an scholarship program. S&T Bank is providing $1,000 scholarships to the children of 10 S&T Bank employees who have achieved success in their high school academic pursuits and are preparing to further their education now that they have received their diploma. Lendyak is the daughter of Rosie Lendyak, an employee in S&T Bank's Ford City branch.
Kiwanis Club presents scholarship
The Kiwanis Club of Kittanning has award its annual scholarship of $1,000 to Kaitlyn Heginbotham, a 2008 graduate of Kittanning High School and its class salutatorian.
Kaitlyn will be attending Slippery Rock University in the fall to pursue a career in physical therapy. In high school she was active in the Kiwanis Key Club, Kittanning High School Band, Drill Team and basketball varsity team. She has also been active in community activities.
She is the daughter of Steven and Rochelle Heginbotham of Kittanning.
Dahms enrolls at Ohio Northern
Alessandra V. Dahms, daughter of Patric and Gloria Dahms of Kittanning, has enrolled in the College of Business Administration at Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio, for the 2008-09 school year. She will be a freshman majoring in international business and economics. A graduate of Evangel Heights Christian Academy, Dahms was active as senior class vice president, yearbook committee, BETA Club, chorus, drama, basketball, and volleyball.
