Videos have surfaced on YouTube of young men fighting at popular gathering spots in Elizabeth Borough.

John Snelson, officer in charge of the police department, and his officers began warning parents and teens on Thursday about the dangers and possibility of charges being filed if the brawls continue. A parent told police yesterday morning about two videos that show fighting under the Elizabeth Bridge and at a dirt bike riding area near the Monongahela River.

Snelson, who said he recognizes some of those in the videos, is worried that someone could get seriously injured in the fights in which young men are being thrown to the ground and repeatedly punched in the head. He said his officers will begin issuing disorderly conduct citations if necessary to stop the fighting.
