A substitute custodian with the Elizabeth Forward School District sued the district and another company in federal court Thursday, claiming she was retaliated against for reporting another custodian after he showed her a pornographic DVD and made lewd comments.

Megan McDonough, 23, of Elizabeth Township claims that after she reported the incident to a superior in May 2009, she was moved to a different work location, given different and fewer hours, and assigned less desirable work, according to the lawsuit. She was offered only one shift last summer and has received few offers to work since, the lawsuit states. McDonough is seeking back wages and damages.

Facilities Maintenance Services, with which the district had contracted to provide maintenance services, is named as a defendant. District officials could not be reached for comment.
