Elton John has canceled a second concert in Scotland due to voice troubles caused by a throat infection, the BBC reported Monday.

John was forced to cancel a Glasgow performance just two days after axing a Nottingham concert, the BBC said.

His throat specialist reportedly told him it would be "foolish" perform in his condition. The singer said he was "sorry to disappoint" his fans, who have been promised refunds for their tickets.

John is scheduled to return to Glasgow next June. Those who bought tickets to the canceled show were told their tickets will be valid at the summer date.
