The letter “About Hillary's emails” (VND, March 21) compares the secretary of State to an information services employee who averages an email every 36 seconds.
In that amount of time, even the most experienced and dedicated employee could do no more than read the subject and identify the writer and make a decision to keep or delete each email as it is received. It would be a full-time job with additional responsibilities.
The primary responsibility of the secretary of State is to travel the world and meet face to face with world leaders. Email is a tiny part of the job.
I hope our next president is a Republican but, if this is the worst fault found with Mrs. Clinton, I may have to bite the bullet and give her my vote.
