Emissions, inspections certificates taken from Irwin shop

Irwin police are investigating a weekend burglary at Monroe Muffler Brake and Service, where someone took about $90 in cash and several state inspection and emission certificates.

The break-in happened at the Route 30 store between 6:20 p.m. Saturday and 7:20 a.m. Monday.

Borough police Chief Joseph Pocsatko said the missing inspection certificates are numbered AIO9492116 through AIO9492140 and the missing emission certificates are numbered IMO6022699 through IMO6022730.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Irwin police at 724-864-3109.
