The blood of fans of the movie "Raw" flowed in the Seattle area and the Pacific Northwest but it was all for a good cause -- the American Red Cross. The relief agency announced that 4,200 pints of blood were donated in the Pacific Northwest in just two days, enough to help save 585 lives. Those who donated blood received free tickets to the horror film "Raw," a surprise box-office hit that made $18 million during its debut Halloween weekend, the BBC reported Saturday. The film has been so successful that the producers of "Raw" are already planning a sequel. There is no word yet if the American Red Cross plans to give out more movie tickets to blood donors. © Copyright 2004 by United Press International
