What is your favorite memory of your high school career?
Going to states with my teammate, Anna Gibas. We bonded a lot. It was quite an experience.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I will have already graduated from a four-year college. I want to be working, maybe in communications, and have a good, steady job.
People may be surprised to know that ...
I guess that I'm in 4-H. I used to have to raise animals — pigs, goats and cows — when I was younger and when I tell people that, they don't see me as that kind of girl.
What are your post-high school plans?
I want to go college, possibly maybe more than four years. Hopefully, I can get a scholarship to a diving college. I'm just starting to get some e-mails from colleges, still going through that part of the process.
Name a role model in your life (other than your parents).
I would say my sister, Jessica. She's an independent woman, knows what she wants and has gone after it. She's very successful. She works for an aviation company in Washington, D.C. and deals with the government. She stayed focused all through high school and college.
