Fayette police list their 10 most wanted
On a spring day nearly two years ago, three armed men stormed into a Fayette County home and assaulted and robbed two people.
One of the three men was Robert Lee Scott, 24, state police at Uniontown said.
They are looking for him, along with nine others, as part of what authorities are calling the barracks’ “10 Most Wanted List.”
“These all involve felonies,” said Trooper Juan Curry, the warrant officer for the station. “Some of these … we’ve been looking for an extended time.”
Scott is wanted on burglary, robbery and aggravated assault charges in connection with the May 5, 2003, invasion of the North Union Township home.
Police describe Scott, last known to have lived at 635 Coolspring St., as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The two other men accused in the home invasion have been arrested, police said.
The most-wanted list also includes the following people, according to information supplied by police:
Endsley, also known by the name Theodore Welsh, was involved in home-improvement scams, authorities said. He is 6 feet tall, weighs 250 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with knowledge about the fugitives can call Curry at 724-415-1207. Those supplying that information can remain anonymous, Curry said.
Anyone on the list, or anyone who knows something about someone on the list can also call the barracks directly at 724-439-7111, Curry said.
A $1,000 reward is being offered by Fayette County Crime Stoppers for information that leads to Scott’s apprehension.
Crime Stoppers can be reached at 877-834-8477.
