Fenner Dunlop moves HQ to Robinson
Fenner Dunlop Americas, a conveyor belt manufacturer, moved its corporate headquarters to Robinson from Scottdale, Ga., which is expected to create about 40 jobs, the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance said Monday.
Fenner Dunlop, a subsidiary of Fenner Plc in the United Kingdom, leased 15,000 square feet of office space at the Omega Corporate Center. Several executives from Atlanta are relocating to Pittsburgh, and there will be several local hirings.
Fenner Dunlop President Cassandra Pan said the company wanted to be close to its manufacturing plants in Port Clinton and Toledo, Ohio and Canada, as well as its newly-acquired services businesses. That includes its Conveyor Service Corp. facility in Blairsville, Indiana County.
"Operating from Pittsburgh puts Fenner Dunlop at the heart of its North American business, allowing for optimal business management," Pan said.
The company's concentrates on making conveyor belts for the coal and hard rock mining industry for surface and underground mines. It also has belt-related products for parcel handling, plasterboard forming, stable matting and agricultural equipment.
