This catch was worth a lot … at least in some markets.

The Monroe County, Fla., sheriff’s office on said a fisherman off the coast of Islamorada in the Florida Keys netted between 40 and 60 pounds of cocaine that was in a bale under a dock Saturday morning.

In a Facebook post, the office said the fisherman noticed something floating in the water and used a net to haul it in.

Within the bale were 25 smaller packages of cocaine wrapped in clear plastic.

The Miami Herald reported the “catch” could be worth up to $761,600, using a scale that DEA Miami office intelligence chief Justin Miller provided the Sun Sentinel in 2017.

In that report, Miller said pure cocaine was going for $26,000 to $28,000 per kilogram.
