Former Cambria County weatherman faces sentencing

A former weatherman for the NBC affiliate in Johnstown has been brought back to Cambria County for sentencing in a child-sex case.

James Patrick Holcomb, 43, also known as Jay Patrick, worked at WJAC television until May 2003. He was on house arrest awaiting sentencing when he disappeared in 2005 and was declared a fugitive.

Cambria County officials say federal marshals recently located Holcomb in Kiev, Ukraine, where he was living under another name. He was returned to the United States and county sheriff's deputies brought him back from New York City on Monday.
