The son of a prominent Wisconsin Democrat is among several men accused of Election Day vandalism, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Monday.

Sowande Ajumoke Omokunde, the son of newly elected U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, was booked on charges of criminal damage to property for allegedly slashing tires on 20 vans and cars rented by the Republican Party for use in Election Day voter turnout efforts.

Omokunde and three others surrendered to police Friday and were released later in the day.

Police continue to seek other suspects in the incident, the newspaper said.
