White Oak and McKeesport police charged four Westmoreland County men with robbing a KFC in Versailles yesterday.

Police were called at 4:10 p.m. about a gunman wearing a bandanna who robbed the KFC in Olympia Shopping Center, according to White Oak police Chief Joe Hoffman. Witnesses saw the gunman run off and flee in a red Dodge Neon.

McKeesport police stopped the Neon on a ramp leading to the McKeesport-Duquesne Bridge. Inside were the suspected robber — identified by police as Nathaniel Guhl, 18, of Greensburg — and three others: the driver, Todd Alan Gesler Jr., 18, of North Huntingdon; Colin Hamilton, 18, of Greensburg; and Patrick Michael Daughert y, 18, of New Stanton.

Police charged them with robbery and conspiracy. State police are investigating whether any of the suspects were involved in other armed robberies in Westmoreland County, Hoffman said.
