A bus driver for a transit company that contracts with the Fox Chapel Area School District was fired for permitting some students to change their clothes on the bus, police told the Tribune-Review late Friday.

The driver hasn't been charged, but officers are still investigating, Indiana Township police Chief Robert Wilson said.

The driver worked for ABC Transit, which provides busing services for the school district.

School officials reported the allegations to police, and the driver was terminated, Todd O'Shell, ABC Transit's vice president of operations, told WPXI-TV, the Trib's news partner.

The driver allowed at least three students to change clothes on the bus before he picked up other students, Wilson said.

Police are conferring with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office.

When the investigation is finished, police will meet with prosecutors to decide whether or not criminal charges are warranted, Wilson said.
