Shopping with Pizzazz at Fox Chapel Golf Club
Upscale shopping at its finest will grace the Fox Chapel Golf Club for the 23rd annual Pizzazz event hosted by the Garden Club of Allegheny County.
An assortment of merchandise not otherwise available in Pittsburgh will feature 34 boutiques from across the country. It will kick off Oct. 24 with a preview party from 6 to 9 p.m., giving guests a sneak peek at the exclusive merchandise. The show continues 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26. Tickets cost $10 or $35 with lunch.
Among the new vendors this year are Carson & Co. from Charleston, SC, with designer silk scarves and home textiles; Daniella Ortiz from Palm Beach, FL, with luxury handbags; and Mavec Collections from Hunting Valley, OH, with paper, fabric and leather goods.
Returning favorites will include cashmere wraps, men’s accessories, jewelry and chocolate toffee.
Pizzazz has brought in more than $1.2 million since its beginning to support conservation and horticultural projects throughout Allegheny County.
Grants have helped pay for a raindrop garden at Aspinwall Riverfront Park, outdoor classrooms at Beechwood Farms and weather stations at Camp Guyasuta.
The Golf Club is at 426 Fox Chapel Road.
