Frazier boys cruise past Beth-Center for win

Robert Gondura and Rock Vargo each scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Frazier boys basketball team to a 91-46 victory over Beth-Center in Section 4-AA action Tuesday. Tyler Rock was added 25 points for the Commodores (14-7, 9-3).

St. Joseph 70, Geibel 53 — Aaron Agostoni scored 22 points for Geibel, but the Gators were beaten in a Section 4-A game against host St. Joseph. Despite the loss, Geibel (10-10, 3-6) clinched a playoff spot thanks to Serra's win over Leechburg.

Mike Connelly scored 26 points to pace St. Joseph (10-10, 5-4). John Arcuri had 22 points, and Chris Gamble checked in with 13 points.

Yough 52, Mt. Pleasant 50 — Ryan Gumbita scored a game-high 20 points, and Dante Porter followed with 10, but the Vikings (4-15, 3-8) were beaten at home by the Cougars in Section 3-AAA.

Jay Miller led Yough (6-15, 2-9) with 16 points. Ricky Paul tallied 12 points, and Ben D'Amico added 10 points.
