The Young Professionals of the Alleghenies will host a free political forum 6-8:30 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Napa/Sonoma Salons in the Holiday Inn in downtown Johnstown. Area professionals are invited to meet the candidates from the Democratic and Republican parties running for judge of the Cambria County Court of Common Pleas, 47th Judicial District; Johnstown mayor; and City Council.

Chip Minemyer of the Tribune-Democrat will be the guest mediator for the event.

“This is an opportunity for the voters in the region to get a better knowledge of the candidates and what they stand for before going to the polls,” said Nicole Stolar, vice president of the Young Professionals.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.
