Free swimming lessons offered at Allegheny County parks

The Allegheny County Parks Department will offer free swimming lessons at pools in Boyce, North, Settler's Cabin and South parks, starting in July.

The lessons will run from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Participants must be age 5 or older. No registration is required.

Classes for individuals with last names beginning with "A" through "K" will take place on July 1, 8, 15 and 22. Individuals with last names beginning with "L" through "Z" can attend classes on July 3, 10, 17 and 24.
