Pocket/MTV Books announced a new line of graphic novels and novellas based on the life of rap star 50 Cent and his crew.
The books will be under the banner, G-Unit Books, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday. In addition to 50-Cent, real life characters in the books will include Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo and Olivia.
"These tales will tell the truth about The Life; the sex, guns and cash; the brutal highs and short lives of the players on the streets," the publisher said in a news release.
The first G-Unit novella will be written by Nikki Turner, who penned "The Glamorous Life" and "A Hustler's Wife." It is set to be published in 2007.
