A British national who raised national-security alerts during flying lessons at a Georgia airport has been located in his home country. FBI officials said Friday that Zayead Christopher Hajaig, 35, “has been located in the United Kingdom and remains a person of interest to us,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported. Hajaig took flying lessons at Gwinnett County Airport-Briscoe Field in Lawrenceville, Ga., in 2002. Red flags went up at terrorist-monitoring intelligence agencies across the globe when Hajaig sought a pilot-rating upgrade without proper qualifications. The Atlanta Joint Terrorism Task Force said the suspect was “aggressive” toward airport employees when they refused to expedite his training schedule. © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
