Giant Eagle is joining the holiday shopping rush by opening 32 of its supermarkets in the region at 3 a.m. Friday so customers can purchase items and buy gift cards to earn fuelperks! rewards that can be redeemed at Giant Eagle's GetGo convenience store locations.

Through the holiday season, Giant Eagle will increase its gasoline discount at GetGo convenience stores to 20 cents per gallon from 10 cents per gallon, for every $50 spent with the Giant Eagle Advantage card on 140 other retailers' gift cards.
