Glassmaker brings craft to WCCC

Students at Westmoreland County Community College got a clearer view of glassmaking Thursday as Ed Francis, a professional artist, entrepreneur and art teacher who serves as assistant professor of art at Tidewater Community College in Portsmouth, Va., gave a glass-blowing demonstration outside of Commissioners Hall.

Francis is serving as a visiting artist this week at WCCC's Youngwood campus.
