Organizers have said rock bands Green Day and Foo Fighters will headline Scotland's largest summer outdoor music festival, T in the Park.
The festivals' organizers have been criticized for booking only one Scottish band, Biffy Clyro, for the large event, however, more Scottish bands are expected to be booked, reported the Scotsman Saturday.
Foo Fighters are scheduled to headline Saturday night of the two-day event with Keane, Embrace, The Coral, The Streets, The Beautiful South and Audioslave will also perform.
Green Day will headline Sunday with The Killers, Kasabian, Razorlight, Prodigy and former Stone Roses singer Ian Brown will also perform, according to an announcement by Geoff Ellis, owner of Big Day Out Ltd., the organizer behind T in the Park.
"This is the first time we've launched T in the Park with a third of tickets sold before the line-up was announced," Ellis said. "I hope that those who already have their tickets, as well as those who have still to buy, are excited by the bands we have unveiled today."
