"Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey has joined Indianapolis Motor Speedway owner Tony George as co-owner of Vision Racing, it was announced Friday.
The actor who plays Dr. Derek Shepherd on the hit ABC medical drama, will drive with Hypersport in Grand American Cup sports car racing, Vision Racing announced in a news release.
George founded the Vision Racing team last year.
