A man armed with a handgun robbed a Greene County gas station on Tuesday night, authorities said.

The suspect entered the Marathon station in Perry Township about 8:30 p.m., pointed the weapon at the clerk and demanded money, Southwest Regional police said.

He fled on foot with about $125 from the Mt. Morris business, police said.

The suspect is in his 20s; about 5 feet, 8 inches tall; and weighs about 150 pounds, police said. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans.

The clerk was not injured, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.
