I wonder how many Valley News Dispatch readers know the bread served at most fast-food places contains azodicarbonamide and can cause digestive problems.

The Subway chain recently removed this flour-bleaching agent from its bread.

Research shows the artificial sweeteners in the diet sodas can create gut yeast in our digestive systems, leading to obesity.

There is good news about this problem. We can fight off gut yeast with probiotics, which kill the bad bacteria in our stomachs.

It is hard to stay away from fast foods and pop, but cutting down on these products — and taking probiotics daily — results in having more energy, weight loss and just feeling better.
