The premium cable channel HBO has canceled Lisa Kudrow’s “The Comeback.” The former “Friends” star created the mockumentary about a has-been actress seeking to revive her career with Michael Patrick King. Its 13-episode debut season ended Sept. 4. HBO announced Monday it was not renewing the show because of future scheduling commitments, the Hollywood Reporter said. “We’ve looked at our schedule and given our future commitments, we felt we would not be able to give the show the support it needed,” an HBO spokeswoman said. © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
