UPMC to open $19 million center in Hampton
Health giant UPMC is opening a $19 million, 44,000-square-foot outpatient center in Hampton.
The three-story building on Mount Royal Boulevard will provide primary care, women's health, pediatric, rehabilitation, radiology and laboratory services, UPMC announced Wednesday in a press release.
UPMC will unveil the center, aimed at providing health care for children and adults, on Thursday.
"This $19 million community investment provides a wide range of outpatient services and brings together the clinical and administrative talent and expertise of UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Passavant," officials wrote in the release. "The new medical complex will make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain the care and services they need close to home, conveniently and efficiently."
The center will also house an Austin's Playroom for children, created in conjunction with the Mario Lemieux Foundation.
