Heinz CEO's compensation $14.9M in 2010

H.J. Heinz Co. CEO William R. Johnson saw the value of his compensation increase more than 6 percent in fiscal 2010, according to a regulatory filing Friday. The total value of Johnson's compensation as head of the food and ketchup company grew from nearly $14 million to $14.9 million. Johnson's salary was unchanged, the value of his stock options and other perks dipped slightly. But the CEO's incentive pay grew nearly 18 percent to $8.6 million. Heinz, based in Pittsburgh, said Johnson's compensation reflects the company's "exceptionally strong results and his leadership in driving the consistent growth and performance of Heinz."
