Joey Mascaro scored 20 points to lead Bethel Park to a 58-49 upset victory over Class AAAA No. 4 Mt. Lebanon (14-5, 9-2) in Section 4 boys basketball action Tuesday night. Levi Metheny scored 14 points in the win, while Joshua Duda added 10 points for Bethel Park (11-6, 7-3).
Jonny David led two players in double-figures for Mt. Lebanon, with a game-high 21 points, while Patrick Ehland added 17.
Fox Chapel 61, Penn Hills 60 — Mike Zappala's free throw with three seconds left pushed Fox Chapel (10-7, 6-4) to a Section 2-AAAA victory over Penn Hills (5-14, 2-7). Billy Urso scored 14 points to lead Fox Chapel, which won for the fifth time in six games.
Gateway 81, Franklin Regional 64 — Clayton Nola had 17 points in a win for Gateway (12-6, 7-2), which clinched a playoff berth in Section 2-AAAA. Daylon Harris finished with 16 points, while Frank Bozicevic had 13 points. Nate Leopold scored a game-high 23 points for Franklin Regional (7-11, 3-7), while Todd Summers finished with 20 points.
Central Catholic 64, Pine-Richland 54 — Alex Schoppen had 21 points to pace Central Catholic (6-11, 3-7) in a Section 3-AAAA victory. Phil Jurkovec had 23 points for Pine-Richland (14-5, 6-3).
North Allegheny 66, Butler 54 — Cole Constantino led all scorers with 16 points for Class AAAA No. 3 North Allegheny (15-2, 7-2) in a Section 3 victory. Mike Fischer added 11 points in the win. Justice Lewandowski led Butler (11-7, 4-6) with 14 points.
Hampton 78, Burrell 59 — Joey Lafko had 20 points for Class AAA No. 2 Hampton (16-2, 10-1) in a Section 1 win. Antonio Ionadi (18) and Jack Morrison (14) also reached double-figures for Hampton. Max Garda led Burrell (9-9, 3-8) with 22 points.
Mars 61, Highlands 60 — Mars' Alex Gruber hit the front end of a one-and-one to close out the game as the No. 1 ranked Planets squeaked by Highlands (8-10, 5-6) in a Section 1-AAA matchup. Highlands' Ryan Boda and Brayden Thimons both scored a team-high 14 points for the Golden Rams. Gruber scored a game-high 21 points for Mars (18-1, 11-0).
Lincoln Park 76, Laurel 51 — Nelly Cummings scored a game-high 22 points to lead Class AA No. 2 Lincoln Park (17-2, 11-0) to a Section 1 victory. Antonio Kellem finished with 21 points for Lincoln Park. Noah Wertz led Laurel (13-6, 8-3) with 14 points.
Apollo-Ridge 76, Wilkinsburg 63 — Apollo-Ridge (13-4, 7-2) clinched a playoff spot as the Vikings rolled past Wilkinsburg (3-13, 1-8) in a Section 2-AA matchup. Maurice Stankus and Alex Smith both scored a game-high 18 points. Tre Tipton added 16 and Duane Brown 10 for Apollo-Ridge. Omar Poole led Wilkinsburg with 15 points.
Bishop Canevin 86, Fort Cherry 50 — Mitchell King scored a game-high 16 points to lead Bishop Canevin (14-4, 9-2) to a Section 3-AA win. John Weldon added 14 points for Bishop Canevin (14-4, 9-2), which finished with 15 3-pointers. Rob McAnany led Fort Cherry (3-15, 2-9) with 15 points.

Pine-Richland 73, Oakland Catholic 37 — Amanda Kalin scored a game-high 30 points to lead Class AAAA No. 4 Pine-Richland (15-3, 7-2) to a Section 3 win. Taylor Renk led Oakland Catholic (2-17, 2-8) with 12 points.
