A Hill District man pleaded guilty last week in federal court to distributing child pornography.

U.S. District Judge Terrence F. McVerry is to sentence James W. Vertullo, 50, on April 12. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Prosecutors said Vertullo distributed, received and possessed computer files containing material depicting the sexual exploitation of minors in February.
