Homestead teen's 2 killers get life without parole

Two men convicted of killing a Homestead teen received sentences Monday of life in prison with no chance of parole.

Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Jill E. Rangos sentenced Terrill Hicks, 18, of Munhall to life plus a consecutive sentence of 15 to 30 years in prison, and Raymont Walker, 18, of Homestead to life plus a consecutive sentence of 12 years and six months to 25 years in prison.

A jury in May convicted Hicks and Walker of first-degree murder in the death of Kevin Harrison, 16, who was shot Dec. 23, 2006, on the steps of his home on West 13th Avenue.
