The Homewood branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will close to the public on Tuesday, so crews to repair a sewer line.
Work is expected to last two weeks. The building, at 7101 Hamilton Ave., will be without working water and sewer services. All library services and programs will be suspended.
Staff will be at the Homewood branch daily to retrieve items from the outside book drop.
Items that are on hold will be available for pick-up from 12-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Staff are working with groups that reserved meeting rooms to rebook space at the East Liberty branch at 130 S. Whitfield St., and the Squirrel Hill branch at 5801 Forbes Ave.
