InfoTech Engineering contract rights sold

Englobal Corp. of Houston said Tuesday, its subsidiary, Englobal Systems, has acquired certain contract rights and other assets of InfoTech Engineering of Baton Rouge, La.

InfoTech offers information consulting and control systems integration services and specializes in automation and process control.

InfoTech's primary experience is in the onshore and offshore oil & gas and petrochemical industries.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Englobal, a provider of engineering services, said no debt or liabilities have been assumed as a result of the transaction.
