Tributes left at the wire fence at the temporary Flight 93 memorial in Somerset County are being moved to a nearby house.

Flight 93 National Memorial Superintendent Joanne Hanley says the items were moved so they won't be damaged during the relocation of the temporary memorial to nearby property owned by Flight 93 family members.

Hanley says about 30,000 items have been left at the crash site near Shanksville.

The temporary memorial is being relocated because of a dispute with the owners of the current location.

A permanent memorial is planned in the field where the hijacked United Airlines airplane crashed on Sept. 11, 2001. Flight 93 was en route from Newark, N.J., to San Francisco.
