Authorities in Indiana County are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 20-year-old Indiana University of Pennsylvania student who was found dead Tuesday night inside a fraternity house in Indiana.

The victim, Michael S. McGoyne, of Steelton, was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m. at the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity house on South Seventh Street, reported Indiana County Chief Deputy Coroner Michael Baker. An autopsy and toxicology tests are scheduled for today, he said.

Baker said drugs have not been ruled out as a contributing factor in McGoyne's death. The cause of death has not been determined.
