The body of an IUP student was found Tuesday in what state police are calling a “suspicious death.” Trooper Jeannie Martin said Jessica Aaron, 19, was found dead yesterday afternoon in a house along Kapusta Drive in Slickville, Salem Township. “At this point we’re calling this a suspicious death,” Martin said just before 11 p.m. She said police were called to the scene and found Aaron’s body at about 4:30 p.m. Martin said police were looking for a man for questioning, but she declined to identify him and stopped short of calling him a suspect. “We have people we need to speak to,” Martin said. “Actually, we’re looking for him now.” Martin said Aaron’s body was taken to Pittsburgh for an autopsy, the results of which should tell police whether Aaron was the victim of a homicide. Martin did not comment on how Aaron died. “We don’t know (the manner of death) because the way in which she was found,” Martin said. She said Aaron’s body was found by the homeowner in a bedroom of the house, but the trooper declined to identify the owner. Two volunteer firefighters standing in the Slickville Fire Station parking lot refused to talk. “Something happened, but we’re not saying what,” one said.
