Actor Johnny Depp has handed over his share of a trendy Los Angeles nightclub to the daughter of his ex-partner who disappeared two years ago.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star signed over co-ownership rights of The Viper Room to Anthony Fox's daughter as part of a legal settlement, unidentified sources told the World Entertainment News Network.

Fox, a Los Angeles businessman, has not been heard from since 2002.

Depp reportedly lost interest in the Viper Room after his friend, actor River Phoenix, died outside the Sunset Strip club in 1993.

Fox's daughter reportedly plans to sell the nightclub.
