CENTER TOWNSHIP -- A Josephine man has been charged with robbing the Kwik Fill service station along Rt. 119 in Center Township.

According to state police in Indiana County, Joshua Duffy, 22, was at the Kwik Fill store at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday and waited for the store to clear of customers before putting on a hunting mask and sunglasses.

He pointed a black gun at the store clerk and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and Duffy fled the scene with the money, police said

Duffy's truck, which matched the description of the get-away vehicle, was located at a Black Lick residence, where Duffy was arrested without incident.

He was arraigned yesterday before Magisterial District Judge Susanne Steffee in Homer City and was placed in the Indiana County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Duffy's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 23 at 2:15 p.m.
