JuveRest The Sleep Wrinkle Pillow
The claim: Invented by a plastic surgeon, JuveRest is an innovative, multi-patented product designed to inhibit wrinkles caused by facial compression during sleep. Sleep wrinkles are distinctly different from wrinkles caused by expression during natural aging and can be prevented by minimizing distortion of the face during sleep. The JuveRest Pillow is designed to encourage comfortable back sleep while accommodating comfortable left and right side sleep with minimal facial contact.

I f I slept only on my back, the JuveRest pillow would be great. The wrinkle-protection claims, of course, are a moot point if your face isn't pressed against a pillow. But lying with my head placed in the soft bowl in the center of the JuveRest is comfortable. I especially like how the rim of the bowl supports my neck.
But, alas, I mainly sleep on my side. My shoulder does slip into the recess cut into the JuveRest, just as it's supposed to. But even though the sliver of pillow that's supposed to elevate and support my neck looks high enough to do the job, I guess it's not, because my shoulder feels crunched or folded under me. Also, my neck mustn't be long enough, because my face isn't quite slipping into the semicircle that's meant to suspend it in a non-creasing position. My attempts to lie on my side invariably end with a corner piece of JuveRest foam jammed into my chin.
I liked the design of the JuveRest and hoped it would be comfortable and wrinkle-averting, but for me, it's definitely not a dream come true.

J uveRest The Sleep Wrinkle Pillow sounds like such a good idea that even the “Shark Tank” panel would be intrigued, but it just doesn't work for me.
I would have to be tied down to my bed for this pillow to have a shot of being worthwhile. We all toss and turn at night and therein is the problem. If you start the night as a back sleeper, there's a cut-out area that will cradle your head to hopefully keep you in place. However, your careful positioning for optimal wrinkle prevention is shot as soon as you roll to your side.
If you are a side sleeper, there's a nifty cutout so you can tuck in the curve of your shoulder. Your face should rest along the edge of the side. But, gee, here's a 25-inch pillow and I'm expected to prop my head on the very edge so I can breathe and not let my cheeks touch the pillow? I'm sorry to say in the middle of the night I tossed this pillow aside and grabbed my $18 dense memory-foam option.
I'll look to a good face wash, a slather of moisturizer and enough hours of rest to ward off wrinkles instead.
On a positive note, this pillow would be comfortable during the 50 minutes or so of an MRI when you cannot move your head.

T he JuveRest Sleep Wrinkle Pillow offers to minimize the wrinkles created while sleeping. If you didn't realize you had this issue, you are not alone. Apparently, normal pillows crush the face while one snoozes, and this pillow claims to suspend the head while protecting the face — so, no sleep wrinkles.
This might work in theory. If you don't move. At all. While you sleep.
While the pillow is comfortable and sturdy, I never woke up in the same position — or any position that the instructions dictate. Certain features on the pillow exist to guide you as you move while sleeping, but I didn't find them helpful. For the price of the pillow vs. the price of moisturizer, I think I'd go with moisturizer to keep the wrinkle fairy away.
