Dave James, 63, KDKA (1020 AM) news anchor and reporter, will retire next month.
"He had the neatest news voice in radio," said Michael Young, senior vice president, Pittsburgh market manager for Infinity Broadcasting and station general manager. "He is a particularly outstanding interviewer. We wish him nothing but the best."

KDKA announced other programming changes to be implemented the first week in September. Among them:
The station will interview candidates to anchor late evening weekday newscasts to extend local coverage until midnight, Young said.
